Hello all!
My name is Leah Read, I'm a transplant New Yorker hailing from Oklahoma, and I've got a hot passion for the visual arts! The art of performing has been soul focus since I started dancing with Oklahoma University's ballet and modern youth program. My parents graciously sent me all over the country to widen my knowledge of the performing arts, which landed me at Pace University for my BFA in Commercial Dance!
Since moving to NYC, I've worked Off-Broadway and on-screen for many inspiring creators, including Marguerite Derricks, Mandy Moore, Cherice Barton, Kelly Devine, and many more!

Throughout college I danced for Wyclef Jean and upon graduating I moved straight to Vegas as a swing in Rock of Ages at the Venetian. I quickly realized that I LOVE to swing and hate casinos. After dabbling in theatre I began working in more commercial and concert dance settings.

University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City University, OSAI Quartz Mountain, and Shannon Crites School of Dance. I attended All-State Vocal Choir and studied acting and singing privately. Once moved to NYC for PACE Commercial Dance, I continued my studies at BDC by completing the Professional Semester Program while assisting Michael Mindlin, Laurie Kanyok, and Rhonda Miller.
